Edifying your active upline (as long as they’re plugged into the THIS IS IT system) gives you instant credibility with prospects. By speaking highly of the successful leader you’re working with, you make prospects more willing to listen during three-way calls, Zooms, one-on-ones, or launch events.
If you don’t have an active upline, you will take on that role for your own team, teaching them to edify you so prospects pay attention. Edification works because success is largely about attitude—confidence, belief, and energy help others take you seriously, even when you’re new.
Your upline must also know how to properly edify you: they should speak confidently, politely, and quickly while building you up in the conversation.
